Meet Fr. Carlos
Fr. Carlos Orozco graduated from Mount Angel Seminary with a double major in philosophy and religious studies. He was then transferred to Mundelein Seminary in Chicago where he completed his MDiv and STB. He hopes to pursue further education toward an STL. Areas of academic interest are biological and theological anthropology.
Fr. Carlos was ordained to the diocesan priesthood in June 2019 by the laying on of hands of Archbishop Peter Sartain for the Archdiocese of Seattle. He served two years as the Parochial Vicar at St. Louise Parish in Bellevue and was assigned as the Priest Administrator at Holy Spirit, Kent on July 1, 2021.
Aside from ministry, Fr. Carlos enjoys reading, being active on social media, has a goal to visit all US National Parks, drawing, photography, video editing, and, taking care of his collection of exotic pets which includes tarantulas, boas, pythons, lizards and more.
