A Christmas Invitation
Christmas on a Monday makes for a very short Fourth Week of Advent. It is less than 24 hours long! To accommodate the Christmas Eve Masses on Sunday, December 24, there will only be two Masses for the Fourth Sunday of Advent: the 5:30 pm Vigil Mass on December 23 and a 10:00 am Mass on Sunday December 24. There is no 9:00 am, 11:30 am, or 5:30 pm Mass for the Fourth Sunday of Advent.
Christmas Masses are at 4:00 pm, 7:00 pm, and 10:00 pm on Christmas Eve, Sunday December 24. Fr. Dave Rogerson will be the presider and homilist at the 10:00 pm Mass. Mass on Christmas day will be at 10:00 am.
Christmas is a day we welcome many people. There are those who are here every Sunday for whom Mass is the highlight of the week and a source of strength for the coming week. We welcome family members and relatives who are visiting for the holiday. We welcome those of other faith traditions, who join their family members and friends. We also welcome those who are searching for a faith or who only have a tenuous connection with the faith community. Let’s be sure to offer these folks a warm welcome and a vibrant liturgy that just might draw them closer to the Lord and back to His people.
Celebrate your Christmas Mass with joy. It’s contagious.
