El Grupo de Oracion Divina Misericordia les invita todos los viernes a reunirnos en oración comenzando con el Santo Rosario a partir de las 7 pm. Los esperamos!
We are seeking parishioners who have a background in health occupations, such as medicine, nursing, dentistry, therapy, and counseling. We are interested in offering some educational resources to help parishioners steward their health through the various ages and stages of their lives. If you might be interested in participating in a ministry event this fall, please contact Anne Frederick at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the parish office. Thanks!!!
Registration is open now for St. John the Baptist Pre-K, Elementary, Youth, and High School Faith Formation! We will be taking note of what is happening in our local school districts as we prepare to return to the McMullen Center for faith formation classes. As always, volunteers are needed to help shepherd our children through the program, please let us know if you are willing to volunteer. We provide training and support throughout the program. Also, while we must charge a fee for materials, no child is turned away from faith formation if the family is unable to pay; arrangements are available.

We are returning chairs to the sanctuary! Help us prepare for Father Jim's last Mass and Father Bill's first. We are planning to clean and replace all of the sanctuary chairs, pull weeds out of the planting strips, wash windows, shampoo carpet, and get things ship-shape for our great emergence into post-pandemic worship! Work starts at 10 am Friday morning, and continues in 3-4 hour shifts until 4 pm Saturday evening or until we finish. Many hands make light work!
Please sign up for one or more time slots at this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090E4EA9A728A6FA7-summer
Father Jim will be celebrating his last Masses this weekend the 26th and 27th of June. While registration is not required for these Masses, keep in mind that it will reach 100 degrees this weekend and we still do not have air conditioning, and we continue to limit seating in the sanctuary to 250 people. On Sunday morning, we will open overflow seating in the multi-purpose rooms. Masks will still be required. All of the weekend masses will be live streamed to our Facebook page, and all are welcome to the farewell barbecue on Sunday at 1 pm. Be sure to wear sunscreen and bring extra water, we will be sitting outside and it is going to be hot!
Meanwhile, let's continue to pray for him and for our incoming pastor, Fr. Bill McKee!

Prayer During Time of Transition
Your wisdom is beyond our understanding, and your goodness to us is more than we can imagine.
Surround and fill us with the light of your truth and love during our time of transition.
Let us view this moment of change and renewal
as an invitation to build upon the foundation that your creative power has begun in us.
As we offer our thanks for all we have experienced together as a parish community,
help us to look forward with trust to the future you have planned for us.
Empower us to be your Church at all times:
a people united in faith, where all are welcomed and connected by your love.
Give us the courage to carry the torch forward,
being open to new possibilities and embracing the new life to come.
As our Good Shepherd, guide us through this transition to become more fully the community of disciples you call us to be.
Through Christ our Lord, Amen.
