Why a yard sale? Isn't that a lot of work for a little money?
So it may seem! But, in the last several years the yard sale has made just enough to help us subsidize our Catholic School families and then a little more over that. It started as a Catholic School family fundraiser and then expanded to the whole parish. Not only does it allow us to check off the fundraising box, it also helps us help others 1) clean out their homes, 2) reuse items rather than throw them away, and 3) provide usable items to lower income households with the dignity of a shopping experience.
Yes, we need a lot of help to make this successful. Please consider signing up for the following positions:
