Funeral Music
Music is very important at a funeral or memorial service. Typically the family will choose the hymns. We usually have a pianist and a vocalist to sing the Mass parts and hymns, and there is typically a fee for the musicians. Contact us with any questions.
For a funeral Mass, you will need the following songs:
- Opening song
- Offertory song
- Communion song
- Meditation song (optional)
- Closing song
For a memorial service that is not a Mass, you will need the following songs:
- Opening song
- Meditation song (optional)
- Closing song
Note that the musicians will choose the responsorial psalm, but if you have a specific one in mind, let us know.
