Synod Listening Session 2024

The Vatican has invited local Churches to undertake a second consultation, this time on the theme of the co-responsibility of the baptized. They state: “As members of the faithful People of God, all the baptized are co-responsible for mission, each according to his or her vocation, competence and experience. Therefore, all contribute to imagining and discerning steps to reform Christian communities and the Church as a whole”.

• Where have you experienced, or witnessed, ways in which Church structures, leadership, or life hinder our shared mission
• Where have you experienced, or witnessed, ways in which Church structures, leadership, or life encourage and foster our shared mission?
• What is needed to help all the baptized respond to our shared call to proclaim the Gospel and live as a community of love and mercy in Christ?
