We can’t be with our children at all times, but we can learn ways to help keep them safe when we’re not there. All employee and those volunteers who have unsupervised, ongoing access to minors or vulnerable adults are required to attend. This program will teach volunteers how to help prevent child sexual abuse. 

Protecting God’s Children was written and developed by Virtus, a program developed by the National Catholic Risk Retention Group. 

Participants will learn: 

 Facts and myths about child sexual abuse; 

 How offenders gain access to children; 

 Warning signs to look for in children, or adults; 

 Actions to take when you notice warning signs
