Honoring mother-to-be Elie!

Elie is a young, single mom, looking forward to the birth of her baby boy, due February 15, 2025.
Elie welcomes this beautiful gift of life and would like to celebrate her pregnancy joy with others.
She has very restricted finances and needs many baby items. The Prepares ministry at Family 30 is
hosting a parish wide baby shower to help meet her and her baby’s needs.

Please join us for light refreshments, games and gift giving!
All are invited to attend – grandmas and grandpas, moms and dads, young adults and kids!
If you are unable to attend, but would like to contribute, gifts can be dropped off at the parish
office.

Gift ideas for Elie and her baby include:
• Gift cards for Fred Meyers, Target or Walmart
• Diapers! Lots of diapers! (newborn and sizes 1 and 2)
• Wipes
• Baby thermometer
• Bottles and binkies
• Baby wash and lotion
• Diaper cream
• Stroller
• Car seat
• Bassinet
• Baby rocker
• Breast pump, breastmilk storage bags, formula
• Monetary donations (Checks made out to St. John the Baptist; memo Prepares Baby Shower)*
*Monetary donations will be used to help purchase the more expensive items like the car seat, stroller, bassinet
and baby rocker.
