Welcome 5th - 8th Graders!
24/25 Calendar Registration Form Adult Volunteer Info
Why be part of the Youth Group?
Why not?!?! 🙂 🙂 Middle School has it's unique challenges and a personal faith life and relationship with Jesus can be greatly beneficial during this time in your life. You were made in the image of God and God loves you just the way you are. No exceptions! Our Youth Group is a great way to join other middle schoolers as you tap into your faith and church community together. You'll make friends, have opportunities to practice your faith, learn more about Jesus and how to let your relationship with God help you out in life, and have some fun doing it all! If you have any questions or want to come check it out for a night to see if it's right for you (parents are welcome to stay and check it out too), please contact me and I can set you up. My contact info is at the bottom of this page and my door is always open.
When do we meet?
September - May, we meet on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30 pm in the McMullen Center classrooms
Who can attend?
Our Middle School youth group is open to all middle schoolers and their families (for family formation dates). It is very important that we have contact information and safety information for each student in attendance, though, so be sure to click the registration link above and bring your registration form with you to youth group before attending. Even better if you can email us a copy of the form or drop it off in the Parish office asap!
Who leads Youth Group
Youth group is lead by parent and high school volunteers! Every family who registers also signs up for a parent volunteer role. These positions are supported by our youth minister.
Can I bring a friend to youth group?
Yes! Even if they are not part of the church you are welcome to bring a friend (or two!) to youth group! We have "friend forms" at the sign-in desk that we will fill out for them so that we have their safety information on hand while they are in attendance.
What is youth group like?
When you arrive, your trusted adult will walk you into the building to sign you in. You will then leave them at the front door and head to your grade's classroom for some teaching and small group time with your grade level Catechists, high school helpers, and parent classroom helpers. Later we'll have snacks and head to the large group session in the multi purpose rooms. Large group is lead by our high school peer ministers and consists of games, skits, prayer, social time, and sometimes even live music! You will remain in large group until your trusted adult comes inside to sign you out and pick you up!
What is the difference between student youth group and family formation?
All student youth group dates are from at 7pm-8:30pm in the McMullen Center (end of our parking lot past the Sanctuary and office building). In order to attend, students must be accompanied into the building and signed in by an adult as well as picked up by an adult unless otherwise arranged with our Youth Minister (yes, even 8th graders!). Students will wait in the McMullen center until an adult arrives to sign them out.

What is youth group like?
NOTE: At the moment we are meeting via Zoom until further notice. The format of the program will remain basically the same, just as a virtual program. Students will have the opportunities to pick up their material to have in front of them while we journey through learning our faith together in our classes, or they can download the material at home. There will still be games and fun! Links will only be sent out to registered families so please make sure you register to get the information!
