All Family 30 high school students, grades 9th – 12th are encouraged to attend the annual Catholic Youth Convention at St. Martin’s University in Lacey. WA. This year, high schoolers from both Holy Spirit and St. John the Baptist will go as one parish family for a day full of opportunities to encounter Christ through this year’s theme: Saints in the Making.
November 15 | 9am–6pm
Saint Martin’s University, Lacey

This spirit-packed day includes live worship music, games, inspiring keynote speakers, energizing breakout sessions, adoration, and Mass with Bishop Schuster.
The event will be chaperoned, but families need to arrange their own transportation to and from the event. Safe Environment-trained adults can stay for the convention as chaperones and experience the power of the Holy Spirit moving in hundreds of youth all at once (it’s electrifying!). If you wish to serve as a chaperone, you will also need to register along with your student. Please contact Veronica before October 22nd to let her know you wish to stay as an adult helper.
Food: Lunch & a Snack are included in the registration fee. You may bring additional shelf-stable snacks or lunch items.
Convention Merch: Shirts, trucker hats, and tumblers with this year’s theme are available to order independently from the Rojo Ink webstore. Orders should be placed by Wednesday, Oct. 22nd, to guarantee delivery before the event on Nov 15th.

If you have questions or need scholarship information, contact Veronica at Holy Spirit or St. John the Baptist.
