From retreats and prayer services to fish fries and Stations of the Cross, there’s something for everyone. Below, you’ll find a full list of opportunities organized by type to help you plan your Lenten journey.
Parish Mission, Family 30
All are invited to attend part II of our Family 30 Parish Mission.
As we journey through this Jubilee year, we are reminded that Christian hope is more than optimism—it is the trust that Christ has come, remains with us, and walks alongside us. This year’s theme, Pilgrims of Hope, calls us to embrace that truth as we celebrate 175 years of the Church in Western Washington.

As we journey through this Jubilee year, we are reminded that hope is at the heart of our faith. In this Pastor’s Corner, Fr. Carlos reflects on what it means to be Pilgrims of Hope, the significance of this Jubilee year, and how we can deepen our faith through prayer, pilgrimage, and community.
Lent Retreat for Family 30
Pilgrims of Hope: Family 30 Lenten Retreat with Tom East
Lent is a season of renewal, a time to step away from the noise of daily life and journey closer to God. As we embrace this Jubilee Year of Hope, we are called to live as Pilgrims of Hope—walking in faith, trusting in God’s promises, and sharing His love with the world.

We invite you to join us for our Family 30 Lenten Retreat, a day of reflection, prayer, and fellowship as we deepen our faith and rediscover the hope that sustains us.
📅 Saturday, March 8
📍 St. John the Baptist Catholic Church
⏰ 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Lunch provided)

Our retreat leader, Tom East, is an inspiring speaker and retreat guide who serves as a Parish Family Liaison for the Archdiocese of Seattle. With years of experience in pastoral ministry, youth formation, and faith development, Tom will help us explore what it means to be Pilgrims of Hope in our own lives and communities.
During this retreat, we will:
🌿 Reflect on the ways God is calling us to live as people of hope
🌿 Find renewal and encouragement in our faith journey
🌿 Connect with fellow parishioners from St. John the Baptist and Holy Spirit
🌿 Spend time in prayer, discussion, and personal reflection
✅ Lunch is provided
✅ All are welcome (young adults – young at heart and all in between)
✅ No cost to attend
Let us walk together as Pilgrims of Hope this Lent!
